Changing days

The documentary "Changing Days" tells the story of a new Balkan route between the North Sea and the Black Sea: Bulgaria is bleeding to death. Young people are heading west in droves to escape the lack of prospects in their post-socialist country. In the other direction, German pensioners are fleeing old-age poverty in this country - they hope for a better and more dignified life in the poorhouse of Europe.It is an endless cycle of leaving and arriving. A paradoxical, reciprocal migration movement within Europe. And not all who travel on this transit route between poverty and home will reach their destination.
